I am hoping the 2012-2013 school year is our best ever at SRES! I am excited to be in my 8th year as the Counselor here at Stemley Road Elementary School. Prior to coming to Stemley, I taught at B.B.Comer Memorial Elementary in Sylacauga. I grew up here in Talladega County and am proud to be a graduate of Childersburg High School. After high school, I attended Judson College in Marion, which is near Selma, Alabama. After teaching for a few years I decided to go back to school and I earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Montevallo.
My husband and I are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl, Anna Claire, a handsome little boy, Braxton, and a spunky little Doxie (a weenie dog), named GiGi. My favorite books are "Chewy Louie" and "The Help". I am a fan of the Peanuts Gang (with Charlie Brown and Snoopy) and my favorite color is orange. Of course, I am an AUBURN fan and love football!
